Considered the 25th largest desert in the world, Lut is located in southeastern Iran, it has even recorded surface temperatures above 70 degrees and this has been measured by NASA.

With the heat of over 50 degrees, the area is in the northwest of China’s Xinjiang province and the Oasis is fertile and surrounded by mountains, including the volcano also known as Turfan.

9. Kebili, Tunisia

The city located in the south of Tunisia is the capital of the province, and has recorded peaks of 55 degrees. The region is on the edge of an oasis in the Sahara Desert. This Oasis has about 100,000 date palms and is one of the main shopping centres in the region.

10. Ghadames, Libya

Divided into two parts, the old and the new, the city has just over 15 thousand inhabitants. It has reached temperatures of 55 degrees Celsius. One of the main attractions of the place is the saltwater lake that surrounds it for about 20 km.
